Today’s #WeArePierson employee spotlight features a member of our team that has made great contributions to his country and Pierson Wireless.
Milton Grimes is a Field Support Engineer in our Operations Support department, and since August 2019 he’s been integral in building a bridge between strategic engineering and field services. An established technician with more than 15 years of experience in the industry, Grimes said “researching and developing products and solutions and then implementing them in the field” remains one of his favorite parts of the role.
Before launching a successful career in telecommunications and joining Pierson Wireless, Grimes was an Operations Specialist in the United States Navy, stationed aboard the USS Fitzgerald. He was responsible for establishing and maintaining high-quality voice and data links, and ship-to-ship satellite and radio communications, during Operation Enduring Freedom. Grimes is a fourth-generation Navy veteran, the first of which dates back to World War I.
In his spare time, Grimes enjoys spending time with his family playing Mario Kart, and he’s an avid sports fan that loves to watch as much NFL action as possible on Sundays.
