This week’s #WeArePierson employee spotlight features a member of our employee family that just celebrated his 10th anniversary with Pierson Wireless, Doug Powell.
Powell is a Public Safety Engineer and part of our Design & Strategic Engineering team and leverages 25 years of telecommunication industry experience (previously at Sprint and Ericsson) to benefit our customers.
“As Public Safety Engineer, I work with the Design team and local fire marshals to provide our customers with high-performing in-building systems that adhere to local codes and ensure coverage for first responders,” Powell said. “I research and evaluate manufacturers’ equipment and determine which is best to utilize. I create templates and procedures that aid Pierson Wireless employees with Public Safety systems.”
Powell’s hobbies include woodworking, grilling, and spending time with family and friends. He also has a commitment to community service as a Grand Knight for his church parish’s Knights of Columbus council.
