Pierson Wireless Public Safety will be appearing at the Campus Safety Conference from November 7-9 at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. This will mark the company’s first appearance on the conference’s exhibition floor and will be located in Booth 1744 in the Campus Safety Pavilion.
The event, a partnership between EDspaces and Campus Safety, is expected to draw more than 1,100 attendees from school and college administrators, campus security executives, law enforcement, and emergency management professionals. The conference’s stated mission is to “assist in addressing the rising issues facing today’s schools and institutions of higher education, helping them prepare for, prevent, and mitigate security and safety incidents.”
Pierson Wireless Public Safety believes a complete in-building solution combining reliable cellular performance and mission critical first responder communications best supports the overall safety plans of educational campuses, enabling initial alerts and the resulting emergency response efforts.
The Pierson Wireless display in Booth 1744 will include a complete Emergency Responder Communication Enhancement System (ERCES), also known as a Public Safety DAS (distributed antenna system), as well as examples of typical cables, connectors, and antennas that provide flawless, code-compliant solutions to ensure emergency professionals can maintain radio communications during a response.
Currently, Pierson Wireless is deploying a county-wide public safety solution for Guilford County Schools, located just 90 miles northeast of the Campus Safety Conference in the greater Greensboro, North Carolina area. The project includes the design, installation, and ongoing monitoring and management of a Public Safety DAS in more than 100 county school buildings.
