This week’s employee spotlight looks at Joe Cottingham, Pierson Wireless’ Project Foreman in our Great Plains Central market. Cottingham is approaching 13 years as a member of the Pierson Wireless team, ranking as its eighth-longest tenured employee and one of 21 team members with a decade or more on the job.
“I’ve been working with the team to develop processes and build out private network systems and mobile assets,” Cottingham said. “But I also transition from private LTE tasks back to traditional cellular enhancement DAS work when needed.”
Cottingham has been a part of the core team of contributors working to deploy a large-scale private network solution for the Central Council of the Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes in Wrangell, Alaska. You can read more about that project here.
“I truly love the work I have been doing with the team at Pierson Wireless, and I look forward to continuing to assist in advancing new private network solutions and technologies,” Cottingham said.
When he’s not lending his expertise to the company, Cottingham is rebuilding his 1988 fastback Ford Mustang. He also enjoys woodworking and has built a few tables and entertainment centers for family and friends. He has a Pitbull rescue named Eydie, who was adopted shortly after moving to Minnesota in 2015.
