Pierson Wireless is again pairing with the Safer Buildings Coalition (SBC) to further the organization’s mission of education related to in-building public safety communications best practices and code compliance. Pierson Wireless will again sponsor several SBC seminars this calendar year, beginning with the St. Louis In-Building Public Safety Communications Seminar on Wednesday, March 6.
The seminar takes attendees through the SBC’s “Three Pillars of In-Building Public Safety Communications”:
- Mobile 911 calls must get out with location accuracy
- Mobile mass notifications must get in
- First-responder communications must work
Seminar attendees will gain valuable insights into the latest technologies and strategies that can help anyone overcome emergency communications challenges in buildings. They will also have the opportunity to network with other public safety officials and professionals in the industry to share real-life experiences and how best to overcome and prevent future challenges.
Pierson Wireless Public Safety team member Stephen Thomas will be onsite to answer any questions about our industry-leading approach to in-building public safety communications systems and strategy. Pierson Wireless believes in a dual-pronged approach to public safety that supports the SBC’s “Three Pillars.” Our method involves cellular enhancement and optimization to handle mobile telecommunications traffic in and out of the facility and installing an Emergency Responder Communications Enhancement System (ERCES, or Public Safety DAS) to support first responder radio frequency traffic during an in-building response.
