Pierson Wireless is a wireless design, engineering and construction firm headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, with offices strategically located in multiple cities across the United States. With over 19 years in the wireless industry and over 100 team members, Pierson Wireless has a wealth of experience and talent on our team. Brady Britten, featured in this article, is one of the many skilled team members Pierson Wireless is grateful to have on board.
Brady graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Biochemistry degree. Although a Biochemist by training, Brady was always curious about wireless technology so in 2014 he acted on that interest and joined the Pierson Wireless solution design team. Since joining, Brady has studied and become extremely proficient implementing broadband network technologies such as 4G LTE and 5G NR. Brady has also become skilled understanding and applying construction standards, and the ancillary systems like power sources, electrical grounding and fiber optic connections. Brady is iBwave Level 1 and Level 2 certified, and is currently working on Level 3 certification. Brady delivers to his customers high quality solution designs, detailed schedules and comprehensive knowledge of how the solutions work and what it will take to install them.
Brady and the Pierson Wireless design team have designed wireless solutions for large indoor and outdoor spaces such as hospitals, schools, parks, stadiums, and more. One of Brady’s most rewarding projects was a head-end and DAS Installation at a Division I NCAA college football stadium.
“I enjoy designing large venues such as stadiums and concert venues, because each is very unique and complex and requires thorough problem solving,” Brady said. As a designer, Brady has enjoyed watching a project evolve from an initial walk-through to full integration. “It is fun to view the closeout photos because I get to see how the time and energy of the whole team has paid off,” Brady added.
Brady has continued to showcase his skills and talents through his work at Pierson Wireless. He has also expanded and developed new skills within his position. Brady noted that strong communication and attention to detail are essential to be successful in his role. “Communication is the top skill I have learned since starting at Pierson Wireless. In order for projects to be successful it is important to know the experts in each area and know how to reach out and learn from them,” Brady said.
Brady envisions that the wireless industry will continue to evolve at a rapid pace. He anticipates low-power, fiber-to-the-edge solutions, including small cells, to be more prioritized with the continued development and deployment of 5G and private networks. Brady believes that these lower power solutions which are closer to the user will fulfill the growing demand for additional capacity, speeds, and bandwidth.
Brady is confident that Pierson Wireless is positioned to continue being a leader in the design, implementation, and operation of wireless technology now and well into the future.
